MISSION STATEMENT

As Terrence McKenna observed so wisely,“You see, I believe that the whole fall into history, the whole rise of male dominance and patriarchy really can be traced to a broken connection with the living world of the Gaian mind, and there's nothing airy-fairy about this notion; the living world of the Gaian mind is what shamans access through psychoactive plants, and without psychoactive plants that access comes as an unconfirmable rumour.”

Over the years, people's spoken stories that were passed down for generations (the myths), and the written experiences in shamanic practices (ancient texts) were misunderstood, rewritten for self gain, or simply lost that which was their original intent becoming these dominant dogmatic religions. Without the direct experience, people are easily controlled by these dogmas as they seek to fulfill the void left by the lack of having the direct religious experience themselves.

We aim to seek and save that which was lost. Literally. And non-dogmatically. We are reviving our rich, deep, and ancient shamanic heritage which was very nearly stolen from us.

Yet, by embracing our heritage, we move, individually and en masse, head-on into the future.

Kantheistic Shamanism is, very much, a religion of experience. It is a ‘hands-on’ religion based on Ancient Wisdom, Modern Science and the enlightening and healing powers of the Sacred Cannabis plant and other Sacred Entheogens. Religious use of Cannabis is our right, protected by law the world over. Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:

Article 18

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

The First Universal Church of Kantheism exists to serve sincere, spiritual cannabists from all around the world, and to help you claim your religious rights under existing law.

We are here to fellowship with one another and to enjoy each others adventures and day-to-day lives. We are here for each other, during a time of persecution. We are, truly, brothers and sisters. You need never feel alone in your spiritual journey. Ever. You are a part of hundreds of thousands of people, world-wide, who recognize, appreciate, and make use of the sacred cannabis plant to feed all our hungers and to heal body, mind and spirit.

We are here to grow and evolve and become more of that which was. We seek to enjoy a more active participation in that GREATER-GREATER MIND of which we are becoming increasingly conscious and of which we are each a part. We comprise a beautiful mosaic, a living tapestry of consciousness.

Come, come whoever you are:
Wanderer, Mystic, lover of leaving;
Come though you have broken your vow a thousand times before;
Ours is no caravan of despair
Come, yet again, come.
~ Rumi, 13th century Persian mystic poet and Hashish Eater ~

Come. Ours is no caravan of despair. Joy and happiness are your birthright and natural state of being.

We are here to create and enjoy nothing less than Paradise-on-Earth.

Come.
